ancoreMind release notes

October 27, 2026

Added

  • ancoreMind Mobile. Your Qlik Cloud sheets and the same Consultant on your phone, tablet or any browser – at app.ancoremind.com, with MindViews: quick views across apps that change nothing in Qlik. See ancoreMind Mobile.
  • Links to what ancoreMind made. Objects ancoreMind created or changed are linked in its answer – select one to open its sheet. See What an answer tells you.
  • Readable new objects. When ancoreMind builds several objects at once, the sheet grows downwards so each one stays readable – nothing already there moves.
  • Invite a colleague you already work with. Invite members offers A colleague from your workspaces next to the invitation by email. See Invite people.
  • ancoreMind knows your sheets and your app. Name a sheet and ancoreMind takes that one; ask When was the data last reloaded? or Who owns this app? See Ask about the app.

Changed

  • The chat is now called Consultant – in the menu, on the left of the full view and in the bar of Select Qlik objects.
  • Answers say what happened. ⚙ … settings – folded – lists every setting ancoreMind made; ✗ Not done names what did not work and why. See What an answer tells you.

October 26, 2026

Added

  • Translate your apps. Settings › Language › Translate Qlik apps into shows sheet and chart titles, labels and master measure names in your language – for you, on every device, without changing the app. Teams correct translations in Workspace › Translations. See Translate your apps.
  • Notifications. E-mail me about unread personal messages in Settings › Notifications. See Notifications.

Changed

  • One header and one menu everywhere. The menu ☰ holds Consultant, Library, Workspace, Settings and Help; ⌕ searches the Library; Account – your picture – has Settings, Switch account and Sign out. Help moved from the ? in the header into the menu. See The chat window.
  • Workspace instead of Collaboration. Workspace has the tabs Workspaces, Conversations, Members, Rules and Translations. The Rulebook is now the tab Rules. See Workspaces.
  • Settings has the tabs Language, Appearance, Notifications and Account. See Settings and account.
  • Rules count only when Qlik shows them. A rule is marked Applied only when ancoreMind has read the changed object back from Qlik and it really follows the rule. See When ancoreMind builds something.

October 16–23, 2026

Added

  • Search or ask in the Library. One field searches files, saved objects and sheets, master items, bookmarks, style templates, rules, Knowledge and conversations; words like this week, by Anna or pivot become filters. See Find files.
  • Master items, variables and bookmarks in the Library. Pick them under Objects in Select Qlik objects and save them; a bookmark keeps its selected values. See Save and insert master items.
  • The look of a picture for existing charts. Make these charts look like this screenshot copies colors, legend, grid, axes, value labels and number format – the answer names what could not be matched. See Style from a screenshot.
  • Variable inputs. A slider for the target margin builds Qlik's variable input – slider, buttons, drop-down or input box – and creates the variable if needed.
  • Dictate. The microphone in the message box turns speech into text. See Dictate.
  • Delete a Conversation. Delete permanently… in Workspace › Conversations. See Rename, archive, restore, delete.

Changed

  • Rename a master item everywhere. If a label comes from a master item, ancoreMind asks Shall I rename the master? and then renames it in every chart of the app.
  • Wider without new rows. Make the bar chart wider makes its neighbours narrower – nothing moves into another row.

Removed

  • Qlik-Applications and its stored app catalog – ask ancoreMind about the app you have open instead. See Ask about the app.
  • Usage in the settings.

October 15, 2026

Added

  • Replace a renamed field in every expression. The field Region is now called Area – replace it in every expression of this app. ancoreMind shows how many expressions it would change – also set and color expressions – lets you narrow it down and changes them after your OK. See Change many objects at once.

  • One number format in every chart. Show revenue in every chart in millions with one decimal – across all sheets of the app. See Change many objects at once.

  • Existing objects into a layout container. Put the sales KPI and the bar chart into one layout container. See Layouts.

  • Master items on their own. Save the master measures, master dimensions and variables of an app to the Library and insert them into another app – the same KPI definitions everywhere. See Save and insert master items.

  • Insert from the Library by chat. Insert Margin % from the Library onto this sheet – missing master items are created on your OK. See Objects and sheets.

  • The same color for each value in every chart. Give each region the same color in every chart – across sheets, also in pie charts and containers. See Change many objects at once.

  • Whole sheets in the Library. Save ▾ › Save a sheet to Library… keeps a sheet with all its objects, positions and the master items and variables they use. Drag it onto the sheet list – or choose Restore as a new sheet – and it comes back as a new sheet, in this app or another one, on any Qlik platform. Dragged onto a sheet that already has objects, it can also go below them. See Save and restore whole sheets.

  • Style templates by drag and drop. Drag a style template from the Library in the compact chat onto a chart, and the chart gets the look. See Style templates.

October 13, 2026

Added

  • Bigger KPI numbers. Make the number in the KPI bigger – the value grows visibly and stays fully shown. See Design.
  • Flow colors in Sankey charts. Make the flows in the Sankey chart orange. See Design.

Changed

  • Files go into the Knowledge base only when you say so. Add to Knowledge base is off by default – in the chat and in the upload dialog of the Library. ancoreMind reads a document only once it is in the Knowledge base. See Documents in the Knowledge base.
  • Rules from a document: after adding, every rule shows Added, and the document also goes into the Knowledge base of the Workspace. See Bring your style guide.
  • Half or a third as wide means a part of the chart's own width. See Charts.
  • KPIs always show the full value. KPIs that ancoreMind creates – also a figure on top of a chart – use Qlik's Responsive layout behavior, so long currency amounts are never cut off. See Design.

October 12, 2026

Added

  • Layouts and figures on top of a chart. Ask for a layout – the sales KPI above a bar chart of sales by region – or for a figure on top of a chart – the total in the top right corner of the line chart – and ancoreMind builds one layout container. Sizes and places inside can be changed by chat. See Layouts and figures on top of a chart.
  • About ancoreMind shows the version, the website, the support address with Send email, whether the services are connected, and Copy diagnostics – in the compact chat via Help and in the full view. See About.
  • Tidy KPI texts. Tidy up the texts in the KPIs on this sheet removes duplicate labels; numbers and tiles stay as they are. See Design.
  • Sizes in your words. Make the bar chart half as wide, put the line chart in the right half – and ancoreMind describes sizes and positions in words, too. See Charts.
  • Buttons. A button that goes to the sheet Products, a button that clears all selections, a button that selects the region North – a Qlik button with exactly that action. See Charts.
  • Move a chart to a new sheet. Move the line chart to a new sheet creates a sheet named after the chart, moves it there and opens the sheet.
  • Date picker. A date picker for the order date places Qlik's date picker on the sheet – a calendar with ranges. See Charts.
  • Open a source at the right page. Under an answer from your documents, select Source 1 to see every passage that was used; Open at page N opens the PDF at exactly that page. See Where an answer comes from.

Changed

  • Save objects from several sheets. Your selection with Select Qlik objects is kept when you change sheets, so you can save objects from several sheets to the Library in one go. See Save objects from a sheet.
  • Inserting from the Library keeps the object's original size if there is room. If the target app lacks a field the object needs, Insert stays unavailable and the dialog names the field. See Insert an object into another app.
  • Bars with an area become a combo chart with the second measure as a line, because Qlik no longer offers its bar-and-area chart; ancoreMind tells you so. See Charts.
  • A KPI number that is too big – The number in the revenue KPI is too big – gets visibly smaller, by about a fifth. See Design.
  • Last 3 months and year to date now also work in Qlik Sense client-managed, counted back from today. See Calculations in your words.
  • Last month is the calendar month before today, and the answer names it; a KPI for last month moves on every month. See Calculations in your words.
  • No room on the sheet? ancoreMind asks whether it may rearrange the sheet, then creates each object once. The compact chat stays open while it asks.

October 11, 2026

Added

  • Help menu. Help (?) next to the close button: About ancoreMind, What's new – these release notes –, Help center, Report an issue… and Service status. See The chat window.
  • Report an issue. Tell us about a problem that is not about one answer – choose the area, describe it and add up to three screenshots. See Report an issue.
  • Reactions. React to any message with an emoji – React under the message. In a shared conversation, the others see it within a few seconds. See React to a message.
  • Emojis in the message box. The smiley button inserts an emoji where the cursor is. See The message box.
  • Report a problem with an answer. Report under every answer of ancoreMind sends us the answer, the steps ancoreMind took and the versions – no data from your app – with a short note if you like. See Report a problem with an answer.
  • Move a chart to another sheet in one step: Move the line chart to the sheet Products. See Charts.
  • Copy a look from a screenshot. Paste a screenshot of a chart you like and ask for your chart in that style – ancoreMind takes over card, colors, grid and legend. In the same sentence you can keep the look as a style template for other charts. See Copy a look from a screenshot.
  • Customers who never bought a product. Sales of customers who never bought the Rain Shell – ancoreMind writes the set analysis. See Calculations in your words.
  • Waterfall charts. Build a waterfall chart: revenue minus costs gives the margin – revenue goes up, costs go down, and the margin is shown as a subtotal. See Charts.
  • Colors by condition. Make the bars red where the margin is under 30 % – in bar and line charts, as Qlik's own color expression. See Design.
  • Shares and Top N. Shares of the total come formatted as percent; Top 3 products, the rest as "Others" sorts by value. See Calculations in your words.

Changed

  • Filters now also work in Qlik Sense client-managed, and you can add lists to a filter pane or take them out again: Add Category to the filter, take Region out of the filter. See Charts.
  • Actions under every message are always visible, with text: Copy, React, Knowledge, Edit and Report. In a narrow chat they show as icons with a tooltip. See Messages.
  • Master measure formats are kept in new charts and KPIs.
  • Conversation and Workspace lists keep their order when you select an entry.
  • KPIs follow their master measure. If you change the format of a master measure later, the KPIs ancoreMind built on it follow. See Calculations in your words.
  • Copy keeps the formatting – bold text, lists and tables arrive formatted in Word or Outlook. See Messages.
  • KPI values in answers: after creating or restyling a KPI, ancoreMind quotes the value as the tile shows it, for example Qlik shows 3.25M.

Fixed

  • Dark style templates on KPIs make the value and the label light, so both stay readable. See Style templates.
  • Changing the chart type back and forth – for example from a bar chart to a box plot and back – works; master dimensions and measures stay linked.
  • Picked objects that were deleted disappear from above the message box and are no longer sent with your next message. See Point at objects on the sheet.

October 10, 2026

Added

  • Calculations in your words. Fixed filters, exclusions, customer groups by sales or by product, shares despite your selection, running totals and changes to the previous month – ancoreMind writes the set analysis. See Calculations in your words.
  • Reference and trend lines – average, median and a linear trend.
  • Drill-down and cyclic groups as master dimensions.
  • Colors from the library – the value colors of a master dimension, with a legend.

Changed

  • Editing a message changes only its text; ancoreMind does not answer again.
  • Deleting a Library file permanently no longer needs archiving first.
  • Back to the chat with your selection. The bar for selecting objects has a Chat button: it takes you back to the chat, and the selected objects stay above the message box. See Point at objects on the sheet.
  • Select Qlik objects is the new name of the button in the message box that was called Select objects in Qlik sheet, with a new icon.

Fixed

  • New charts use the app's master measures where they match, so the axis shows the master measure's name.
  • Turning a bar chart into a line chart gives a normal line chart with the categories along the axis.

October 9, 2026

Added

  • Filters in Qlik Cloud. Ask for filters – for example filters for region and year on this sheet – and ancoreMind adds a filter pane. See Charts.

  • Maps. Ask for a map of a measure by country – as colored areas or as points sized by the measure. See Charts.

  • Box plots and distribution plots. ancoreMind creates them with the fields in Qlik's roles – for example one box per region, spread over customers. See Charts.

  • Style templates. Keep the look of a chart as a style template and apply it to other charts with Apply style – Restore puts them back. See Style templates.

Changed

  • Select objects in Qlik sheet moved into the message box, left of +.
  • Selecting objects on the sheet. After Select objects in Qlik sheet, every object has a Select button with a menu, and a bar on the sheet offers Apply style, Save and Clear.
  • Saving objects to the Library works from that bar: Save › Save to Library…, then pick the folder. It replaces Add objects from the Qlik sheet in the Library. See Objects and sheets.
  • Arranging a sheet leaves the ancoreMind object where it is and never lays a chart over it.
  • Color lists – for example in radar charts and word clouds – are drawn in the colors you asked for.
  • Tables. In Qlik Cloud, a new table is Qlik's straight table; a classic table is still available on request.
  • Sign-in names the Qlik site. The sign-in window first shows the Qlik site you sign in from and asks you to Continue – with a warning for addresses that are not Qlik Cloud addresses. See Sign in.
  • Style templates per column. The look of each column and measure travels by position: alignment and column widths in tables and pivots, pivot indentation, the line style of each measure, and how many bars or points an axis shows.
  • Updating a style template. Saving a template again under the same name in the same place updates it.
  • Style templates across chart types. A template gives other chart types the settings they share – for example the colors of a bar chart template to a line chart.
  • Library: Show and search. Show filters the list by All, Documents, Style templates or Qlik objects; the search finds files by Name or documents by Content. Each Workspace and Conversation has its own Style Templates and Qlik Objects folders. See Find files.
  • One dialog to move, copy and save. Search for a place or folder, create a folder, and see who will be able to see the file there. See Organize files.

October 8, 2026

Added

  • Rules from a document. From a document… in the Rulebook – or a PDF in the chat – lets ancoreMind propose the rules of your style guide, with the page they come from. You pick the ones to add. See Bring your style guide.
  • Several rules at once. Select rules in the Rulebook and turn them on or off, copy or move them to the Workspace, an app or a conversation, or delete them. See Keep the Rulebook tidy.
  • Which rules were used. Answers that build something show N rules applied · N not applied, with Not applied and Can't apply yet and their reason. See When ancoreMind builds something.
  • Collapse to a bar. The compact chat folds into a small bar at the bottom of the sheet, so you see the sheet change while ancoreMind works. See Collapse to a bar.
  • Wider or narrower chat. Drag the left edge of the compact chat; ancoreMind keeps the width.
  • The ancoreMind button pulses while ancoreMind works and when a new answer or message arrives, if the chat is closed.

Changed

  • App rules show the name of the app instead of its ID.
  • Honest answers about chart settings. If Qlik does not offer a setting for a chart, ancoreMind says so instead of reporting success.

Fixed

  • Undo on a rule card in the chat also works after you changed where the rule applies.

October 7, 2026

Added

  • Rulebook. Tell ancoreMind once how your apps should look – colors, number formats, titles, chart types – and it follows these rules in every app of the Workspace. Rules can be said in the chat, added by hand, and exported and imported. See Rulebook.
  • Save as rule… on a message turns an agreement or a correction into a rule. It replaces Save decision and Save correction.
  • Help where you need it. Many areas and dialogs of ancoreMind show a ? that opens the matching section of this help.
  • Documents in the chat. A PDF, Word or PowerPoint file you attach is read for the conversation, and ancoreMind answers from it.

Changed

  • The Rulebook replaces the style guide. The sentence Use this file as our style guide no longer has an effect – bring your style guide into the Rulebook instead.
