ancoreMind Mobile

Your Qlik Cloud apps and your Qlik consultant – on the phone, the tablet or any browser. Open app.ancoremind.com, sign in, and you see your sheets with live figures from Qlik next to the same Consultant you know from Qlik – with your Workspaces, Conversations, Library and rules.

How it works​

  1. Open the app

    Open app.ancoremind.com in the browser of your phone, tablet or computer.

  2. Sign in to ancoreMind

    Sign in with your ancoreCloud account – the same account you use in Qlik – or create one. Your Workspaces, Conversations and Library are there at once.

  3. Sign in to Qlik Cloud

    ancoreMind Mobile connects directly to your Qlik Cloud. The first time, select Sign in with Qlik, enter your Qlik Cloud address – for example company.eu.qlikcloud.com – and sign in with your Qlik account. Later this happens by itself.

  4. Pick an app

    Open the menu and choose Switch Qlik app. Your sheets appear – calculated by Qlik, with your rights.

Switch between Analysis – your sheets – and Consultant at the bottom of the screen. On a tablet or computer, both stand side by side.

What you need​

An ancoreCloud accountThe same account as in the ancoreMind extension – or create one when you sign in. Workspaces, Library, Knowledge and rules are shared.
A Qlik Cloud accountancoreMind Mobile works with Qlik Cloud. Client-managed Qlik Sense and Qlik Sense Desktop are not supported here.
Nothing in the Qlik appThe app does not need the ancoreMind extension on a sheet. Qlik calculates every figure with your own rights and section access.

Keep it on your home screen​

ancoreMind Mobile is a web app – there is nothing to download from an app store.

  • Android, Chrome or Edge: open the menu and choose Install as app. ancoreMind Mobile gets its own icon and opens without an address bar.
  • iPhone and iPad: in Safari, select Share › Add to Home Screen.

Sign in and stay signed in​

ancoreMind Mobile asks for two sign-ins, always in this order: first ancoreMind, then Qlik Cloud. Without the ancoreMind sign-in, no sheets are shown.

  • Your device stays signed in while you use it. After 24 hours without use you sign in again; each use extends the time, up to 30 days.
  • If Qlik signs you out, you see You are signed out of Qlik. – select Sign in again.
  • Sign out of Qlik is in the account menu and in the settings. Signing out of ancoreMind works as in the extension – see Sign in.

The screen​

  • On the phone: at the top the menu, Back, the app ancoreMind works in, and your avatar. At the bottom the switch Analysis | Consultant, below the Workspace and the Conversation you are in.
  • On a tablet or computer (from about 1,000 pixels wide): Analysis on the left, the Consultant on the right. Drag the divider fully to the right to hide the Consultant; ‹ Consultant brings it back.

The menu holds Switch Qlik app, Consultant, Library, Workspace (Workspaces, Conversations, Members, Rules and Translations), Settings, Keep this app in original language, Install as app and Help.

The Consultant on your phone​

It is the same Consultant as in Qlik – the same version, the same Workspaces, Conversations, Library, Knowledge and rules. Ask about your figures, build and change sheets, or save charts to the Library: everything in this help works here, too. Changes to a sheet happen in the Qlik app itself, for everyone who uses it.

Settings for Mobile​

Settings has a tab ancoreMind Mobile:

  • Qlik app – Switch Qlik app and Sign out of Qlik.
  • Selections – Separate for each window or The same everywhere.
  • Technical details – versions, Qlik tenant and connection, handy for support.

Good to know​

  • After 30 minutes without use, the connection to Qlik pauses; ancoreMind Mobile shows Reconnecting to Qlik… and continues where you were.
  • ancoreMind Mobile draws Qlik's charts, tables and KPIs itself – Qlik calculates every figure. Very large objects show the first 10,000 cells with Showing … of …. An object type it cannot draw yet shows This object can't be shown here. – use Open in Qlik Sense.
