How ancoreMind works
Qlik calculates, in your own Qlik session and with your rights. The ancoreMind service never connects to Qlik, and the AI receives calculated results and app structure – not your raw data.

How it works
ancoreMind has three parts: the extension in your Qlik session, the ancoreMind service in Microsoft Azure in Germany, and the AI in Azure OpenAI in the EU data zone. Whatever you ask for – a question, a new chart, a change to a sheet – takes this way:
- You write your request in the chat. It goes to the ancoreMind service over an encrypted connection.
- The service checks your sign-in and your access to the Workspace and the conversation – for every request.
- The service asks the AI. The AI works out what to do in Qlik – which figures to calculate or which objects to build or change.
- The service sends that request to your browser. The service itself never connects to Qlik.
- ancoreMind runs the request in your Qlik session, with your Qlik rights. Section access and permissions apply as always.
- Qlik calculates the figures or makes the change. The result goes back to the AI, and the answer streams into your chat – a change is already on your sheet.
In short
- Your Qlik rights apply. ancoreMind sees only what you see in Qlik – no Qlik API key, no OAuth client.
- Calculated results, not your raw data. ancoreMind does not load your data model, does not read raw tables and does not copy QVD files.
- No copy of your Qlik app. ancoreMind does not copy your app – it keeps the conversation and the files you choose to save.
- Stored in Germany, encrypted. Conversations, files and Knowledge are kept in Microsoft Azure in Germany.
- No training on your data – per Microsoft's Azure OpenAI terms.
