Analysis on the go

Your Qlik sheets in your pocket – and ancoreMind one tap away. Swipe through the sheets of a Qlik Cloud app, make selections, ask about a chart and send the result as PDF or Excel.

How it works​

Choose Analysis at the bottom of the screen. The toolbar shows the sheet name with Previous sheet and Next sheet; Overview lists all sheets of the app. Qlik calculates every figure with your selections and your rights.

Tap an object to open its menu:

  • Enlarge shows it on the full screen.
  • Details shows the object's description and its dimensions and measures – as Details in Qlik.
  • Ask ancoreMind about this opens the Consultant with the object attached.
  • Why is the margin in the South lower than last quarter?
  • Add a KPI for orders next to this one.

Details​

Selections​

Select values directly in the charts, as in Qlik. The selection area also offers Bookmarks, Search fields and Search values, Step back and Step forward in your selections, and Clear all selections. In a field: Select all, Select possible, Select alternative, Select excluded, Lock – then Confirm or Cancel.

Whether a selection applies in every window or only in the current one is set in Settings › ancoreMind Mobile › Selections.

Several objects for ancoreMind​

Choose Select objects in the toolbar and tap the charts you mean. The bar shows how many are selected and offers:

  • Ask – a question about exactly these objects,
  • Translation… – their texts in another language,
  • Copy to… and Move to… – another sheet or app,
  • Clear and Done.

Layout​

Move or resize objects so a sheet reads well on your screen. This layout is yours: it stays in ancoreMind Mobile and changes nothing in Qlik. Undo layout change takes back the last step, Restore Qlik layout brings back the sheet as it is in Qlik.

If you may edit the sheet, Copy layout to Qlik… writes your layout into the Qlik app. ancoreMind Mobile asks first – the sheet then changes for everyone who opens it, also in Qlik Sense.

Export as PDF or Excel​

  • PDF opens Export as PDF: paper (A4, A3, Letter), orientation (Portrait, Landscape, Fit), content (This sheet, This view or Selected objects) and tables (As on screen or Complete). Then Create PDF.
  • XLS exports the tables of the sheet to Excel.

Tabs​

Keep several sheets and MindViews open as tabs – they follow you to your other devices. + opens Open a sheet or MindView: search sheets and MindViews, open a sheet of this or another app, or create a New sheet or New MindView. Recently closed brings back what you closed.

The menu of a tab offers Rename…, Copy to My MindView, Open in Qlik Sense, Close tab, Close other tabs and Reopen closed tab.

Translated apps​

If you translate Qlik apps into your language, ancoreMind Mobile shows the translated texts, too. Keep this app in original language in the menu shows the current app as it was written; Change translation… in the menu of an object corrects a single text.
