MindViews

A view of exactly what you need – from one app or several, without touching any Qlik app. Ask ancoreMind for a view, or drag charts onto it yourself. Qlik calculates every figure; the MindView itself lives in ancoreMind.

On this page you learn:

  • what a MindView is and how it differs from a sheet,
  • how to build one by asking or by dragging,
  • how to share, organize and delete MindViews.

How it works

Everyone has My MindView – your own view, always saved, only for you. Open it in a tab and ask:

  • Show me revenue by region and the monthly trend from Sales 2026 next to the open orders from Logistics.
  • Add the margin KPI to this view.

ancoreMind puts the charts together on the page; you can also drag objects onto the tab of a MindView. A MindView never creates or changes anything in a Qlik app – on a MindView page, ancoreMind only arranges the view.

A MindView can combine several apps. A chip then shows which app ancoreMind works in – select it to switch.

Details

Create a MindView

Select + in the tabs, choose New MindView, give it a name and decide Who can use it: Only you, This conversation or Workspace. Then Create. An empty MindView says what to do: ask ancoreMind for a view, or drag objects onto its tab.

Pages

A MindView has up to 12 pages. Its menu offers New page, Rename page…, Move page earlier and Move page later, Clear page and Delete page. Undo goes back up to 20 steps.

Save and share

Save as file… keeps a MindView in the Library – for yourself, for this conversation or for the whole Workspace. Only its owner can change, rename or delete it; everyone else opens it read only. Copy to My MindView in the menu of a tab takes a view or sheet into your own MindView.

Rename and delete

Rename MindView…, Clear this MindView and Delete MindView… are in its menu. A deleted MindView goes to the archive of the Library, so it can be restored.

Good to know

  • A MindView holds charts, tables and KPIs.
  • Qlik calculates every figure with your selections and your rights – a colleague who opens a shared MindView sees what their own Qlik rights allow.
