How it works​

Ask before you rename or delete: Where is the master measure Margin % used? ancoreMind looks through every sheet and every ancoreShare report and names each object that depends on it. Before ancoreMind deletes something itself, it runs this check first.

ancoreMind looks through every sheet and every ancoreShare report of the app and names each object, sheet by sheet, with the role the item plays in it. Before ancoreMind deletes a master item, a variable or a chart, it runs this check first and tells you what would be affected.

A typical find​

In our sample app, the sheet Overview shows a KPI called Margin %. But ancoreMind reports that the master measure Margin % is used nowhere – because the KPI calculates the same formula itself:

Duplicate master measures​

  • List the master measures of this app with their expressions.

The list shows at a glance that Sales and Umsatz, Margin and Marge, and Orders and Anzahl Bestellungen are the same formula under two names – a typical result of years of work by different developers.
