Your first conversation

Five minutes to your first finished sheet. Hand ancoreMind a job the way you would brief a Qlik consultant, change the result in your own words, then ask about the figures. The examples use a sales app with regions, products and sales reps – try the same with your own data.

How it works​

  1. Hand over a job

    Open ancoreMind, describe what you need in the message box and press Enter. The sheet does not need to be in edit mode.

    • Create a sheet "Q4 cockpit" with KPIs for sales and margin, sales by region as bars and sales by month as a line.

    ancoreMind creates the sheet, builds the charts with the app's master measures, places them and opens the sheet.

  2. Change it in your words

    If you do not like something, just say so – like you would tell a colleague.

    • Sort the bar chart descending by sales.
    • Make the bar chart horizontal.

  3. Ask about the figures

    • Which region sold the most this quarter?

    While ancoreMind works, you see what it is doing – Analyzing question…, Reading Qlik data…, Writing answer…. The figures in the answer are calculated by Qlik in your app, with your current selections.

    ancoreMind remembers the conversation. You do not have to repeat what you already said:

    • Show me the same by month, and compare it with 2025.

  4. Filter the app

    ancoreMind can make selections for you. They are real Qlik selections: the whole app follows them.

    • Select DACH and only the winter products.

    To undo, ask ancoreMind to clear or step back in the selections – or use the Qlik selection bar as usual.

  5. Keep what you need

    • Your conversation is saved automatically. You find it again the next time you open ancoreMind, also in other apps.
    • Sheets and charts that ancoreMind created are part of the app. In Qlik Cloud they are saved automatically. In client-managed Qlik Sense and Qlik Sense Desktop, save the app as usual.
    • Answers with a table or chart can be copied with Copy under the answer.

Tips for good requests​

  • Use the words of your app. If the app calls it Revenue and Sales Rep, use those words. If you are not sure, ask: Which fields and master measures does this app have?
  • Say the period and the scope. Revenue 2026 for DACH gets you a better answer than How are we doing?
  • One step at a time for bigger changes. Start with the sheet, then the charts, then the design – and check the result in between.
  • Any language works. Ask in German, English, French or any other language. ancoreMind answers in the language you write.
