Use ancoreMate in n8n
In n8n, ancoreMate is the verified community node n8n-nodes-ancoremate. It contains two nodes: ancoreMate for all actions – you choose the resource, for example App, Reload or Report, and then the operation – and ancoreMate Trigger for all events. Both use the same credential. It works in n8n Cloud and in self-hosted n8n.
Install the nodes
ancoreMate is verified by n8n, so you can install it directly from the nodes panel. The owner or an admin of the n8n instance installs it once:
Find the node
In a workflow, open the nodes panel with + on the canvas and search for ancoreMate. Verified community nodes appear under More from the community at the end of the list. From version 1.24.1, the search also finds ancoreMate with Qlik, Qlik Cloud, Qlik Sense, ancoreShare or Reload.
Install it
Select ancoreMate. A detail view with its actions opens. Select Install. The node is installed for the whole instance: all members can then use ancoreMate and ancoreMate Trigger.
If ancoreMate does not appear, verified community nodes may be turned off for the instance: in n8n Cloud an admin can switch them on in the instance settings; in self-hosted n8n this is controlled by environment variables.
On self-hosted n8n you can also install the package by name: open Settings → Community nodes, select Install, enter n8n-nodes-ancoremate and confirm. New versions are shown under Settings → Community nodes, where you can update the package.
Up to version 1.23, the package had one node per area, for example ancoreMate Reloads or ancoreMate App Data, each with its own trigger node. Since version 1.24.0 these are replaced by ancoreMate and ancoreMate Trigger. Workflows built with the earlier nodes no longer run after the update: rebuild them with the new nodes, using the same resource and operation.
Create the credential
New credential
Create a credential of type ancoreMate OAuth2 API and select Connect my account. No client ID, client secret or API key has to be entered.
Sign in with your ancoreCloud account
A window opens. Sign in with your ancoreCloud account. The window shows the address of your n8n – continue only if it is yours. It also shows Signed in to ancoreCloud as …; if that is the wrong account, select Use another ancoreCloud account.
Connect Qlik Cloud
Enter your Qlik Cloud tenant, for example
company.eu.qlikcloud.com, select Sign in at Qlik Cloud, sign in with your Qlik Cloud user and approve the access for ancoreMate. If your ancoreCloud account already has Qlik Cloud connections, the window lists them. Select the one this credential should work with, or add another one under Or add another Qlik Cloud tenant or Qlik user. To work with several tenants or Qlik Cloud users, create one credential per tenant or user.
Done
Wait until the sign-in window has closed – do nothing else in the same browser meanwhile. n8n then shows the credential as connected.
To connect a second Qlik Cloud user of the same tenant, use a private browser window. See Tips for the sign-in window.
Your first workflow: send a sheet as PDF every morning
Schedule Trigger
Add a Schedule Trigger that runs every weekday at 7:00.
Export the sheet
Add ancoreMate, resource Report, operation Export Sheet. Choose the app and the sheet and keep the format pdf. The PDF arrives in the binary field
data.Send it
Add Gmail or Send Email and attach the binary field
data.

Good to know
- Resource and operation. The node ancoreMate groups its actions by resource (for example Reload, Reload task, ancoreShare Report). The connector reference shows for every action the n8n resource and operation.
- Lists return one item per entry. Set Output to One Item With All Entries to get the whole list in one item, together with
totalRowsandtruncated. - Large tables. Every row becomes an n8n item, which slows n8n down from about 10,000 rows. For large data, use Export Chart Data (Excel file) instead of reading the rows.
- Qlik expressions starting with
=. n8n treats a value that starts with=as an n8n expression. To send a Qlik expression such as=Sum(Amount), switch the field to Expression and enter{{ "=Sum(Amount)" }}. - Files go in and out through binary fields. See Files.
- Triggers: add ancoreMate Trigger and choose the Event. From version 1.24.1, the nodes panel also lists every event under its own name, for example When an ancoreShare report is finished. Triggers register themselves with ancoreMate when you activate the workflow and remove themselves when you deactivate it. Your n8n webhook address must be reachable from the internet.
- Optional dropdowns start with (Not Set) (from version 1.24.1). Leave this entry to not send the field.
- Dropdowns that cannot load. If a list such as the apps or spaces cannot be loaded, the list shows the reason from ancoreMate as its only entry – for example
QlikNotConnectedwith the hint to sign in again. The entry has no value: the workflow cannot run until you set the field correctly. - Reconnect. If a node reports
QlikNotConnected, open Credentials → ancoreMate account → Reconnect, sign in again and choose the Qlik Cloud connection. See Connect ancoreMate to Qlik Cloud. - AI agents. The node can be used as a tool of an n8n AI agent; there it is called ancoreMate Tool.
