Requirements
ancoreCloud account
You need an ancoreCloud account. Details and sign-up: ancorecloud.com.
The ancoreCloud account is the identity of your connections. It holds your Qlik Cloud connections – one per tenant and Qlik Cloud user (see Connect ancoreMate to Qlik Cloud).
Qlik Cloud
- A Qlik Cloud tenant, for example
company.eu.qlikcloud.com. ancoreMate works with Qlik Cloud only, not with client-managed Qlik Sense. - A Qlik Cloud user with access to the content you want to automate. ancoreMate acts with exactly the rights of this user: it sees the apps, spaces and data this user sees, and section access applies.
- Nothing to set up in Qlik Cloud. You do not create an OAuth client, a client ID or an API key. Qlik Cloud asks the user once to approve the access for ancoreMate.
Some actions need more in Qlik Cloud:

Automation tool
Use one or both of these tools – they share the same ancoreCloud account and Qlik Cloud connection.
Microsoft Power Automate
- A Power Automate license that includes premium connectors, for example Power Automate Premium. ancoreMate connectors are premium connectors.
- Continue with Power Automate.
n8n
- n8n Cloud or a self-hosted n8n instance. The owner or an admin installs the verified node ancoreMate once.
- Continue with n8n.
Network
ancoreMate runs at https://ancorecloud.com/ancoremate, hosted on Microsoft Azure in Germany. For a self-hosted n8n:
- The n8n server needs outgoing HTTPS access to
ancorecloud.com. - The browser in which you create the credential needs access to
login.ancorecloud.comand to your Qlik Cloud tenant. - For triggers, ancoreMate calls the webhook address of your n8n. The n8n webhook address must therefore be reachable from the internet over HTTPS.
