ancoreMate ancoreShare Reports

Run ancoreShare reports, download the report files and read the report usage. Triggers when an ancoreShare report button has finished a report.

In n8n, these actions are in the node ancoreMate; the triggers are events of the node ancoreMate Trigger. Each action below names its n8n resource and operation.

Get started

Turn on Enable ancoreMate Event in an ancoreShare report button and copy its ancoreMate key. Create a flow with When an ancoreShare report is finished, enter the key, the account, the app and the report, add Apply to each over Files and Download report file, and save each file in SharePoint or send it by mail.

Good to know

• The trigger needs ancoreShare with the ancoreMate event (report button setting). The key of the button is the only protection of the event; create a new key in the button if it became known.
• Links to report files are valid for 12 hours.
• Run ancoreShare report needs the ancoreShare account ID and the execution token of the user the report runs for.

When an ancoreShare report is finished

Starts when a report button with ancoreMate event enabled has finished a report in the tenant of the connection, run by a user or through ancoreShare External Execution. With Include the report files the files come along as Attachments, ready for a mail.

Include the report files	yes/no	Whether the trigger passes on the finished files as Attachments, ready for a mail; files up to 50 MB together. Turn off to get only the links. Default: on.
App	choice	Only reports of this app; useful when a copy of the app has a button with the same key.
Report	choice	Only reports of this report button.

Result: The finished report.

Field	Type	Description
Event type	text	The type of the event.
Time	date and time	The time ancoreMate received the event.
Tenant ID	text	The Qlik Cloud tenant of the app.
Account ID	text	The ancoreShare account.
App ID	text	The app of the report.
Report ID	text	The report button.
Report title	text	The title of the report.
Task ID	text	The ID of the run, only for reports started through ancoreShare External Execution, for example with Run ancoreShare report; empty when a user clicks the button.
User ID	text	The Qlik user who ran the report.
Files	list	The finished files; in n8n each file is a separate item. Each entry has: File name, Link.
File links	list	The links to the finished files, for example for Download report files.
Attachments	list	The finished files as mail attachments, with Include the report files; for example for Attachments in Send an email (V2). In n8n each item has its file as binary data. Each entry has: Attachment name, Attachment content.
File error	text	Why the files could not be included, for example because they are too large; they can still be downloaded with the links.
Parameters	object	The ancoreMate parameters of the report button.

Report

List ancoreShare reports

Lists the ancoreShare report buttons of an app with title, export type and tags.

Reports	list	The reports. Each entry has: Report ID, Title, Export type, Tags.

Run ancoreShare report

Starts an ancoreShare report; ancoreShare queues it and sends the files to the targets of the report button, for example the ancoreMate event.

Execution token required	text	The ancoreShare execution token of the user the report runs for; each user has an own token.
Export type	text	The export type, default as configured in the button.
Bookmark	text	A bookmark to apply before the report runs.
Selections	text	Selections to apply before the report runs: one field with its values (Region,North,South), or for several fields the select=… part of the ancoreShare execution link (select=Region,North&select=Year,2026).
Notification	text	When ancoreShare sends a mail about the run, for example success.
Notification mail	text	The mail address for the notification.

Result: The started run.

Report file

Download report file

Downloads one file of a finished report from its link; links are valid for 12 hours.

Usage

Get report usage

Returns the number of report runs per month, of all runs by button and by External Execution, for the account or one app, report or Qlik user.

List automated report runs

Lists the report runs started through ancoreShare External Execution (not by the button) with result and error, to find failed automated runs.

Limit	number	The maximum number of runs, between 1 and 1000. Default 100.
