Get started with ancoreMaps

Use ancoreMaps to add interactive geographic visualizations to a Qlik app. Begin by installing the extension in your Qlik environment, then use the tutorial that matches your Qlik product.

Before you begin​

  • Install ancoreMaps by following installation, updates, and licensing.
  • Use a Qlik app that contains the location data and measures you want to visualize.
  • Make sure you have the required Qlik permissions to edit the app and add extensions.

Create your first map​

  1. Open the Qlik app in edit mode and add an ancoreMaps object to a sheet.
  2. Follow the applicable tutorial to configure the map with your data and a background map.
  3. Continue with the configuration reference to adjust map providers, view behavior, layers, and object settings.
